1954
James F McCue left his family’s business, ‘McCue Dick’ to form his own company, initially manufacturing packing cases.

1961
The new company is incorporated as James F McCue Limited.

1970
During the early days of NI’s ‘troubles’, the company was forced to move from Short Strand - Mountpottinger to relocate to Carryduff, where the company traded for 32 years.

1987
Les McCracken joined the company to work alongside James McCue.

1990
James F McCue said farewell and retired after a long career.

2002
After sustained growth with further expansion plans, McCue move to a new custom built premises in Carrickfergus.
