Along with the Diamond Group and interior designer, Toni Dalrymple Wilson, McCue has provided a new eatery on local soil, with The Harbour Point, Carrickfergus.

McCue fitted out this sophisticated seafront restaurant, bar and grill, as phase one of a two part development.  Over a 9 week period, McCue not only supplied all bespoke joinery materials, but delivered a complete fitout of the dining areas, bars, raised areas, built in seating, walls and floor finishes, and even the adjacent off-licence!

A testament to McCue’s proficiency and strive towards optimum customer service is no better pinpointed than by Tim O’Connor, of the Diamond Group, who describes this contract as, “one of the easiest contracts I have ever been involved with.” (Ulster Architect, Sept 2006).

Fast forward a year, and the second phase is now complete, with the emergence of Smugglers Cove. Again, working with The Diamond Group and Intec Design, this addition is in sharp contrast to our previous instalment. McCue has successfully provided an impressive “themed” restaurant, complete with boat-shaped dining areas, treasure trove map decor, fitted illuminated internal fish tanks, all finished in dark wood panelling, ensuring the ambiance of a buccaneer deck!
