Client: Milanos
Location: Continuing development- Cork, Galway, Dawson Street, Temple Bar and Grand Canal, Dublin
After successful fit outs of Milano’s in Cork, Galway, Dawson Street and Temple Bar, Dublin, the continuation of this winning collaboration is no better reflected than by our latest delivery at Grand Canal, Dublin.
In just 6 weeks, McCue has produced another of Ireland’s answers to Pizza Express, with the emergence of this new 150-seat Italian eatery, covering 2 floors, at a value of £350,000.
Like its mother ship, Milano is breathing new life into their restaurants. McCue has helped to inject “contemporary chic” into these venues, whilst working closely with Milano’s designers to ensure the concept works sympathetically with each building, enhancing its natural features.
The colour scheme employed is mainly black and red, enthused by the landscape of Dublin’s docklands; whilst black and white photos of Dubliners are instilled throughout the décor, to embalm the city’s features within Milano’s domain. Indeed, speciality features such as black wenge wall paneling, bespoke red hanstone counters, LED lighting, and triangular raft ceilings; all reflect the inspiration drawn from Milano’s locality. |
